Sales trainer

We are looking for a Sales Trainer who is passionate about animals, retail, and helping people grow. In this role, you will train teams across our pet shop network, focusing on sales techniques, customer experience, product knowledge, and best practices in animal care. If you enjoy working with people, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic retail environment, we’d love to meet you.

• Deliver engaging sales training sessions for pet shop staff (in-store, online, or regional)

• Develop and update training materials tailored to store needs

• Train teams on:

  • Effective sales and upselling techniques

  • Customer interaction and service excellence

  • Product knowledge (pet food, accessories, care products)

  • Basic animal care and welfare standards

• Assess participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback

• Collaborate with store managers to identify training needs and performance gaps

• Previous experience in sales training, retail, or pet industry roles
• Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills
• Ability to simplify complex information and make learning engaging
• Solid understanding of pet products and basic animal care
• Willingness to travel if the role covers multiple locations
• Positive attitude, patience, and a people-focused mindset
